Writing with the body
motricity as the first graphic tool

Writing is a complex act closely connected to children's bodily development. It includes cognitive, perceptual and above all motor components. The contribution proposes an experience of motor activity as preparatory activities for pregraphism that marks the transition from movement to the graphic trait. The need to overcome the erroneous ideology of using pre-graphic cards exclusively is emphasized to gain opportunity for an approach that highlights the potential of motricity in the development of writing skills.
