Abstract

L’articolo esplora come l’intelligenza artificiale (IA) stia rivoluzionando il campo della scrittura, integrando aspetti di linguistica computazionale, elaborazione del linguaggio naturale (NLP) e considerazioni etiche. Vengono analizzati i progressi che hanno portato allo sviluppo di sofisticati sistemi di scrittura assistita da IA, inclusi modelli di apprendimento profondo e generazione di testo, con un focus sulle sfide attuali e le future direzioni di ricerca. Prendendo come punto di partenza le teorie di Noam Chomsky sulla grammatica generativa, il lavoro esamina l’evoluzione delle sue critiche all’IA, dalle prime riserve verso i modelli behavioristi fino alle sue più recenti riflessioni sui limiti delle tecnologie di deep learning. Si evidenzia la differenza tra la semplice simulazione del linguaggio da parte delle macchine e la sua reale comprensione, sottolineando l’importanza di una teoria linguistica robusta per il progresso dell’IA nell’ambito linguistico.
