Abstract

Playing, drawing and storytelling represent symbolic-expressive languages that children use to ensure their own mind-body well-being and integrate with the surrounding reality: they constitute real expressions of the self, depending on original biological impulses that manifest themselves from a synergistic perspective, to allow the so-called reassurance process, thanks to the simple and metaphorical language they contain. In this sense, the playful-graphonarrative experience becomes a self-disclosure and self-care practice, allowing to get to know oneself, give meaning to personal experiences and get in touch with the most intimate feelings, in a path of encounter/clash between emotions and thoughts.
