Abstract

The debate about digital technologies in the field of school education is increasingly assuming a pivotal role by placing the change in approaches at the centre of its reflections; the transmissive didactic model is moving towards learning based on the collaborative construction of knowledge. Starting from the assumption that web resources expand school spaces and times and that technologies can act as a bridge between formal and informal, this contribution focuses on the relationship between writing and digital transition and  presents an experience conducted in a secondary school in Bologna: a teacher used technologies and digital environments to test the potential of the class blog as a tool for practicing and improving students’ writing skills.
